Storybook Island

Sioux Pottery

American handmade pottery, crafted by Sioux artists Sioux Pottery is made from the red clay of the Black Hills, SD, USA ~ sacred to the Lakota Native American People. Dinosaur Park

Bright green beasts above Rapid City The dinos were dedicated on May 22, 1936, on the crest of a hill overlooking the city. The five figures -- an Apatosaurus, Triceratops, Stegasaurus, Tyrannosaurus Rex., and a Brontosaurus, were fashioned from concrete over iron pipe frameworks.

Museum of Geology

America's Founding Fathers Exhibit

At America’s Founding Fathers Exhibit you’ll find American history and amazing art intersecting in a celebration of the political courage displayed by the 56 men who dared to sign the Declaration of Independence. Artist John Trumbull painted his idea of the first draft of the Declaration of Independence being presented by Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, Benjamin Franklin, Roger Sherman and Robert Livingston to their fellow members of the Second Continental Congress.
